<p>This role will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing high-impact partnerships with musical instrument manufacturers, music education organizations, schools, and other key players in the music industry. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that will play a pivotal part in expanding Simply’s reach, driving user acquisition, and enhancing our product ecosystem through strategic collaborations.</p>

<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Partnership Strategy & Deal-Making</p>
<ul>
<li>Identify, evaluate, and execute partnership opportunities with musical instrument brands, schools, online and offline music education providers, and industry organizations.</li>
<li>Lead end-to-end deal negotiations, including structuring agreements, financial modeling, and defining success metrics.</li>
<li>Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape to uncover new partnership opportunities that align with Simply’s mission.</li>
</ul>
<p>Relationship & Stakeholder Management</p>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry players, positioning Simply as a leader in music education.</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and business teams to ensure partnerships drive tangible impact on growth, engagement, and monetization.</li>
<li>Oversee partnership performance, contract renewals, and ongoing optimizations.</li>

<p>Operational Execution & Growth</p>

<li>Drive internal initiatives that integrate partnerships seamlessly into Simply’s product and user journey.</li>
<li>Establish reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of partnerships and continuously refine strategy based on data-driven insights.</li>
<li>Communicate partnership outcomes and opportunities effectively to internal stakeholders and leadership.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles—preferably in ed-tech, music tech, or a consumer subscription business.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation and deal-making skills, with experience managing complex agreements and driving high-impact collaborations.</li>
<li>Ability to develop and execute creative partnership strategies that drive measurable business impact.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills to assess partnership potential and ROI.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel frequently for partner meetings, industry events, and on-site collaborations.</li>
<li>Startup experience—a “get things done” attitude.</li>
<li>Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>A self-starter mentality—able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li>
<li>Passion for music and education—deep understanding of the industry is a plus!</li>
