As we continue to expand Simply Draw, we’re looking for a Drawing Content Lead to own and shape how drawing is taught inside the app. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of drawing, education, and product. You will define the instructional approach, design structured step-by-step learning journeys, and ensure our content builds both technical skill and creative confidence at scale. <h4 style="text-align: left; line-height: 2;">What You’ll Do</h4> <ul> <li style="line-height: 2;"> Own the drawing pedagogy — define the instructional framework and translate complex artistic skills into clear, structured, step-by-step learning journeys. </li> <li style="line-height: 2;"> Design and lead content production — create and oversee video-based lessons and content units that balance technical mastery with creative exploration. </li> <li style="line-height: 2;"> Set and uphold quality standards — build lesson flows, exercises, and guidance that are clear, engaging, and confidence-building while working within production constraints. </li> <li style="line-height: 2;"> Lead freelance creators — recruit, guide, and provide actionable feedback to ensure consistency and excellence across content. </li> <li style="line-height: 2;"> Collaborate cross-functionally — work closely with product and design, using user insights and data to continuously refine and improve the learning experience. </li> </ul> <h4 style="text-align: left; line-height: 2;">What We’re Looking For</h4> <ul style="text-align: left;"> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Strong passion for drawing and visual expression </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Background in drawing or adjacent creative fields (illustration, design, animation, fashion, visual communication, etc.) </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Ability to break down complex artistic concepts into clear, structured, step-by-step learning experiences </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Strong pedagogical thinking — understanding how people actually learn and improve </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Ability to manage freelance creators and provide structured, actionable feedback </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Product sense — ability to understand user needs, constraints, and prioritize what truly matters </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Comfortable translating product insights and feedback into content decisions </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Experience working in tech environment and/or organizations — strong advantage </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Technically savvy; familiarity with AI tools for visual/content workflows is a plus </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Teaching experience (formal or informal) — advantage </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"> Experience working with kids — advantage </li> </ul> If this description sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
